A Song of Soul by T.R. Durant

November 20, 2023

Review:

There was a lot of spice in this book. I knew that diving in but holy moly. If you like a ton of spice this is the book for you. I personally liked the plot more than the spice but if I wasn't interested, I wouldn't have signed up to ARC Read this. It was amazing. I loved the characters and the plot. A bit too much spice in my opinion but that's just me. I loved all the characters. Samantha loves and breathes music. She just wants what's best for her mom and herself. Then she meets Collins, her soulmate and everything changes. I loved this story so much and I can't wait to see their story unfold more. I would definitely recommend this book!

I gave it 4 stars and the spice level is at a 5.

Blurb:

A call from the sea

Decades of waiting

Can lost love be found

In the lowest of tides?

Samantha

Dreams have anchored my reality since I can remember. The waves called for me.

I have no choice but to let go of all the other sounds of the world and follow the song of the sea.

Collins

The petite blonde attracts my gaze while she revels in the shallow waters. Her giggles are like music as she hops around, splashing.

She is beautiful and full of life, awakening a dormant part of my heart.

I want her like I’ve not craved for anyone in decades. Yet I can’t entertain this fantasy, nor act on my desire for this human. I won’t replace my dead soulmate, my Sadb, nor will I betray her memory by sparing a further glance towards another woman.

The tantalising song the human exudes floods my soul. Yet, it shall be forever smothered by silence.

About the Author:

T. R. Durant has always been fond of love stories, but she believed they needed a little, or a lot, touch of spice and a few twists. Thus, she intertwines her tales with these elements, combined with humour and a tad of mystery.
