The Timeless Trials Review
~March 6th, 2024 - March 15th, 2024~
Review:
First of all, let me start off my review by saying how grateful I am that I got the opportunity to ARC read this book! I loved it! A perfect mix of The Hunger Games, Divergent and Matched. I loved the slow burn between Radar and Rae, the suspense, the sister bond, etc! Not to mention it gave me Fourth Wing vibes as well! The ending had my jaw on the floor I can’t wait for book 2 to see where this all goes.
Blurb:
In Orogi, time is currency. Earn enough, and you can live forever; fall short, and you will meet an untimely death.
Rae's time is running out.
When she is selected as the first female to participate in the Timeless Trials, the brutal games meant to entertain the rich, Rae knows it's a death sentence. Only one can survive the games.
But if she can survive a little longer...
If she can set aside her dangerous attraction to the prince's brother…
She could win the grand prize of immortality.
Stuck in a deadly competition, caught between two brothers in a game of royal politics, and tempted by love, Rae must find a way to buy a little more time before her time runs out.
About the Author:
A.C. Guess is a self-proclaimed fantasy aficionado and devourer of books. Fueled by coffee and a wild imagination, she dreams of winning the Timeless Trials herself to have more time to bring her stories to life. Unfortunately, she must admit that she would never win because of her preference for simple comforts like caffeine, blankets, and piles of books. A.C. Guess lives in Kansas City with her three kids, husband, and grumpy cat. The Timeless Trials is her debut novel.
