On Bladed Tides by Rachel C. Donnan
Review | Book Tour ~ December 5th - 6th
This book was amazing. I'm giving it 5/5 stars and the spice was easily a 5/5 stars as well! This book was everything I expected it to be. I had a hunch on the plot twists but I was still surprised when I actually read it. This is my first reading of a pirate novel and it was amazing. This is also my first ARC through R&R book tours and it was great! Rachel did an amazing job with all of her characters, the story, world building and details. I was fully immersed and invested in what was going on. Put this on your TBR if it isn't already you won't regret it.

Rhea should've died two years ago.
She was ready to swing by the neck till the God of Death came to take her. Yet, her saviour was not the man who promised to come back for her, but rather a tyrant queen. Rhea, forced to swap one noose of rope for a different kind of leash, must stand beside the one woman who both saved her and it set on destroying her.
That is until the queen's son goes missing, lost at sea and last seen in the hands of the infamous pirate Kaiden Blackblood - the very same man who promised to come back for Rhea two years ago.
When Kaiden and his crew are found washed up and without the prince, the queen issues one order.
Find her son and be offered freedom as a reward.
Rhea must set aside her hatred for the one man she was foolish enough to fall in love with, and sail alongside him to find the missing prince - even if it means sailing into different realms that should only exist in nightmares.

The Legend of Gasparilla by S.T. Fernandez
Review | Book Tour ~ December 6th - 7th
Here's another pirate ARC Review Book Tour for you guys! This one is Bridgerton meets Pirate of the Caribbean and I loved it! An Admiral falling from grace due to betrayal? Uh yes please. All in all this ARC is getting a 4.5/5 star rating. I will say I haven't seen Bridgerton but I have seen Pirates of the Caribbean and for the gamer community out there it also gave me Sea of Thieves vibes. I will say I wasn't a huge fan of historical fiction in the past but this book has changed my tune. So if you like Pirates, immaculate story telling and good guys turned bad please read it.
Blurb:
Bridgerton meets Pirates of the Caribbean in a story many argue is not a myth but a legend.
Admiral Jose Gasper of the Spanish Royal Navy had it all: the love of his life, Josefa de Mayorga; the confidence of the King; and a plan to become one of the most successful merchants in all of Spain. But when a jilted former lover accuses him of stealing the crown jewels, he escapes Sevilla only to realize he's duped into piracy, further staining his legacy. Gasper continues down an immoral path he works relentlessly to resist. The dream life he yearned for with Josefa slowly slips away, his reputation far too ruined to be worthy of her honor.
After having her beloved ripped from her life, Josefa and Gaspar's friends work tirelessly to clear his name to no avail. When fate finally hands her a chance, she sets sail to find Jose, but fate is both friend and foe. Josefa discovers the man she lost is different from the viscous pirate she rescues from certain death.
When infamous Lieutenant Kearny of the USS Enterprise sets his sights on the new pirate, Gasper must decide between a dark and perilous addiction to piracy or living a subdued life in the shadows. His darker inhibitions may take his soul hostage, and Josefa's love may not be enough to save him.

Rivers For Storms by Teshelle Combs
Review | ARC ~ December 27th - 27th
Next book review we have is for Rivers for Storms, book 2 of Ripples for Skies! I couldn't put this one down either and I'm so glad I was able to ARC Read both! Really good! This one definitely had me on the edge of my seat with all the adventures, suspense and just overall the twists in this one. So so good. I loved every bit of it. Rivers begins where Ripples left off. Nkita and Em on the run from the cza. I loved every second. It was as good if not better than the first one. It left us on a semi cliffhanger but that just gives me anticipation for book 3.
