Bleed For Cupid by Aiden Pierce
Review ~ March 31st, 2024 - April 2nd, 2024
This was an interesting Novella. Very spicy. I don't have a lot to say other than it was interesting. I didn't have any complaints.

Roses are red, violets are blue. Hide your heart, little bird. Cupid’s Arrow is coming for you.
Callum is more than the CEO of Cupid Inc., the company that manufactures “love” potions and sells them to mateless supernaturals who want to take “fate” into their own hands. He’s an angel. Literally.
But even the devil came from Heaven.
So it’s just my luck that he also happens to be my boss… Until he discovers that I’m a mole for the organization protesting his company. Suddenly, I find myself as the test bunny for his most potent product yet: Cupid’s Arrow. And my mate-to-be? Callum himself.
Call it vengeance. Call it an insane marketing stunt. Call it fate. Whatever it is…
There’s no escaping Cupid Inc.’s dark angel and his terrifying brand of love.

Distance Forever by Luna Mason
Review ~ April 3rd, 2024
I probably should've read the actually book before reading this novella but I absolutely loved it and I feel like I learned a lot before fully knowing the whole story. Very spicy and a quick read. Now I'll have to go back and read the actual book.
Blurb:
In true Keller style, expect an extravagant get away, filled with lots of spice and worshipping of his wife. But when Sienna tells him that she doesn’t feel beautiful after having kids, Keller makes it his mission to spend the entire weekend showing her otherwise… and he won’t stop until she believes him.
This is a short story connected to the full-length novel, Distance. This can still be enjoyed as a quick and hot read.
A War of Hearts and Fate by N.E. Henderson
Review | ARC ~ April 2nd, 2024 - April 5th, 2024
**Read triggers before reading your mental health matters**
This book was great! I love Kate and Kane! The twists we got in this story I'm not gonna lie I kind of expected but it didn't ruin anything for me once I figured it out on my own! But I enjoyed it! Kate is our strong FMC in this shifter romance; she is from a rival pack and is head over heels for our Alpha MMC from the other pack, Kane. Kane is kind of cocky but we love that. He has feelings for Kate but can't act on it because his mate is missing. But when Kate ends up going into heat they act on their feelings that have been stirred up for a long time. I can't say any more I'll spoil it but it was great! If you want to find out what happens next pick up the book! Again read triggers before you read because your mental health matters and death is mentioned more than once. If you like any of these tropes you'll like this book:
- Fated Mates
- Best Friend's Sibling
- Touch Her and Die
- Telepathy
- Witches
- Strong FMC
- Alpha MMC
- Rival Packs
- 2 Person Love Triangle
- Found Family
- Accidental Pregnancy
- Vampires
Blurb:
From the bestselling author of More Than Memories and Have Mercy comes N. E. Henderson's first romantasy.
A fated mate lost…
I discovered my mate when I was eight—my best friend’s little sister. She was just a wolf pup and hadn’t even shifted back into her human form when I vowed to protect her and never love another the way I knew I was destined to fall in love with Anna. After all, fate had decided she would one day own my heart. However, The Bloodmoon Pack has many enemies, and twenty years later, I’m still searching for the mate that was taken.
A heart confused…
Over the years, an alpha’s daughter from a rival pack would venture into my territory from time to time. The first time I saw her, she took my breath away. Of course, that could have something to do with her shoving her boot into my gut and drop-kicking me to the ground. Still, she isn’t mine. I can’t have her. I don’t want Kate. I want my missing mate.
A bond broken…
But when Kate shows up asking for help during a total lunar eclipse, when my pack is most vulnerable, I give in to overwhelming need—and messed up. My canines broke skin, claiming the wrong woman. Seeing the tattoo on her back brought me to my senses, severing the feelings I refuse to acknowledge that exist between us. I kicked her out of my house, out of my pack, and away from my territory with a promise that I’d kill her should she step across the border again.
What to expect:
♡ a down on his knees, groveling MMC (hero)
♡ a strong FMC (heroine)
♡ primal...fun
♡ a different spin on rejected mate
♡ a two-person love triangle
♡ kidnapped/missing mate
♡ 1st person, dual POV
Of Blood and Aether by Harper Hawthorne
Review | ARC | Book Tour ~ April 14th, 2024 - April 16th, 2024
Let me start off by saying that I was captivated by page 1; this book is slow but you learn a lot. We are introduced to a lot of characters and I love the banter we witness in this story. The sexual tension between Kieran and Arken is *chef's kiss* if you guys love a slow burn this is a good one. It's slow but not too slow. With every encounter between the two characters there is a lot of banter and inner monologue between the two about how much they want the other. It's so good. The story building is immaculate as well, there's so much detail and that's what makes it great. To me this book was fully immersive. There's a lot packed in and everything was great! 5/5 and I'd give the spice level a 2/5.
Tropes:
- Dual POV Fantasy Romance
- Elemental Magick
- Dark Prophecy, Dark Secrets
- Charming, Clever, Fine
- Increasingly Questionable Interpretations of the Word "Platonic"
- Arcane University
- Tension, Angst, and So Much Yearning
- Addictive Banter
- Slow Burn with Searching Spice
- Morally Grey, Shadow Daddy MMC
Blurb:
A rare conduit of Light, drawn to the Shadows. A spymaster who can’t seem to stay away.
For as long as she can remember, Arken Asher has been searching for answers—driven by an insatiable hunger, a need to understand the meaning behind her dangerous arcane secrets. She’s finally taken that leap into the unknown, leaving her simple life behind to attend the Arcane Studium: a prestigious college of magickal arts & sciences nestled in the heart of Sophrosyne: the City of the Gods.
As the Scouting & Reconnaissance Captain of the Elder Guard, Kieran Vistarii deals in Shadows, blood and subterfuge. Scarred by his past but dedicated to safeguarding Sophrosyne’s future, Kieran’s self-imposed isolation is easily masked by charm and cocksure energy. Strange disappearances have kept his cadre busy as of late, and yet the captain finds himself sidetracked, distracted by the inexplicable allure of a certain golden-eyed Conduit and her curious mind.
They both know better than to get involved, but the Fates have other plans. The dark threads of prophecy were woven long ago, and the ties that bind just might be what it takes to mend these broken, star-crossed souls… or what forges a deadly bond that could damn them all.
Of Blood & Aether is the first book in the Harbingers series, a captivating and character-driven dark romantasy saga. Rife with sizzling tension, gut-wrenching angst, addictive banter and ever-growing stakes, the Harbingers series is perfect for fans of A Court of Thorns & Roses, Fourth Wing and From Blood & Ash.

Where there is smoke. . . there is always fire.
For more than a century, dragons ruled the skies without excitement or fear. That instantly changes when a shadow appears from a world beyond with a deal too enticing to ignore. As more of her secrets come out, all of his morals are called into question. To love the mage would mean turning his back on his family. With everyone around Valk demanding action, he’s left with only one decision to make: confront what he thinks might be genuinely evil or surrender himself to their plans.
Is love worth Valk's soul if it ignites his spirit?
To ignite a Pyrite Spirit is part of the Bound by Flame multi author collection and also takes place in the Dryad Chronicles world with ties to characters in other books.
